when i was 17 or 18 it was really important for me to be popular, liked, "a scenester". now i know who i know. those who are important to me, i keep in touch with.
people fall in and out of your life. i've stopped trying to hold on so tight.

People being nice to you at shows doesn't help you when you want to share life's highs and lows... my mom always says there are 3 kinds of people - people who add to your live, people who have no real impact, and the people who detract. Who do you want to spend your time on?
