wake up. turn on ny1 for my cliff notes version of the news. there's a story about a computer virus being sent around. and all i can think of is "hackers". a horrible movie that i still hold some sort of affinity for. my boss thinks that i'm the "computer whisperer". if something is not working she has me come into her office. then the program opens, the document appears, the dvd begins to play.
i offered to go to down the street to saint patrick's and grab some holy water for her computer, jokingly. she gets really serious and says "i believe that there can't be good without evil. they both have to exist you know?"
since i hadn't finished my coffee and wasn't ready to be chastised for being a lapsed catholic, i just agreed with her and walked out.
