in conjunction with my ad agency, i had an opportunity to work on a pro-bono campaign for team earth. we took an empty storefront space in midtown manhattan, adjacent to the david letterman show, and utilized the window to hang signs promoting the protection of endangered species for earth day. the empty real estate, some of the world's most expensive, highlighted the need for action not only in the economic sector, but also in environmental realms.
my hair is a mess. my eyes are bloodshot. i'm literally only running on caffeine fumes. and i get to go do this all again on the lower east side in a few hours! but i couldn't be more pleased with my bleeding heart liberal self today. xoxo mjm

I love that we still volunteer to save what's left -- remember all the time spent with the Neighbor's Project and the kids of Shaw Elementary and Trees for the City... we carry that with us every day!
